ACA coverage gap raises concerns in some states
Close to 5 million Americans are estimated to fall into a coverage gap created in states that declined to expand Medicaid eligibility. Those affected have incomes too low to qualify for Affordable Care Act tax credits and subsidies but too high for Medicaid without the expansion of eligibility.
